Therefore, it is used mainly in medical applications and home use. Moreover, this body thermometer does not use mercury, so no need to shake for the proper mercury level, hence it disperse any worries about broken glass or mercury hazards.

* Clinical thermometer makes it ideal for any situations where you need an accurate reading. You can get the body temperature through inserting it into the mouth under the tongue (oral or sub-lingual temperature), under the armpit (axillary temperature), besides that, or into the rectum via the anus (rectal temperature).

* Digital thermometers with a temperature sensing instruments, that are easily portable. It has permanent probes, and a convenient digital display. 

* The clinical digital thermometer offers a safe, accurate and quick reading. Usually, it can reach a final temperature in 10 to 60 seconds compared to conventional thermometers.
